About Odette Johnson

Odette Johnson was born and raised in rural Quebec. She moved to Toronto after secondary school and studied Communication and Design at Ontario College of Art. Later she studied Graphic Design and Illustration at George Brown College. 

While raising a young family, Odette’s training had given her a foundation to create and collaborate on three children pre-school books with her father Bruce Johnson who, at the time, was a commercial artist. As her young family grew, she pursued a career in the animation and advertising industry. Odette’s passion for painting is inspired by the beauty and joy that nature has to offer. She now resides in Bluffton SC where she continues to paint in her home studio and exhibit in local galleries.
